♥ Hello there world! This site is dedicated to all our AIA pupils from NBPS (whether alumni or current ones). This is a place to celebrate our growth and successes and even failures. We hope to document the artistic growth of these pupils and hopefully one day when they become a practicing artist in their different ways, they can reflect on the amazing journey they have gone through. Navalite Compass 2014 - the results!
Our New Navalite Compass 2014 will be designed by our OWN AIA member HIKMAH!!!
Congratulations Hikmah for winning the Ipod Shuffle and also to have her design voted as the design for the Navalite Compass 2014!
Our other AIA members did well too!
Zheng Yang was voted 3rd, Jia Ling and Jia Wen won themselves the merit award as well!

Beautex Life's Beautiful Art Competition @ Gardens by The Bay
27th July 2013, the AIA members and a few art club members set out for Gardens by the Bay in anticipation for an art competition! They were fully geared with their tools of trade (oil pastels, water colours etc etc) to do their BEST!
Upon arrival, the skies did not look all friendly :( It started to rain soon before the start of the competition. However, that did not dampen the spirits of our pupils. The atmosphere at the Gardens by the Bay was very relaxing but not for them. They were determined to do their best!
To be honest, the tourist and many local passer-by were very impressed with our kids :) Mdm Z and myself were too!
Although no one won anything, we were proud that 3 of their works were in the FINALS! Mostly importantly, the pupils learnt how to be humble and continue to improve in their work to make progress in their skills!
ArtOPus Art Competition 2013
During the June Holidays, a few of our AIA members worked independently to create an artwork for the OPSS ArtOPus Art Competition 2013.
We are very proud to announce that 3 of our AIA members were awarded!
Jia Ling came in 2nd in the 7 - 9 yrs Category.
Jia Wen and Felicia were awarded consolation in the 7 - 9 yrs and 10- 12 yrs Category respectively.

NBPS AIA MEMBERS BECOME TEACHERS FOR A DAY!
On the 12th July, 2013. A few of our Team C members shared on how to achieve the Scanimation technique which is a large part of their work. It was one of the first time they presented in public.. and sure they were nervous!
Oh dear, the Balance may not be balanced anymore!
The girls insisted on doing the slides with me! I was really impressed!!
Dear AIA members, do continue the great effort in sharing what you have learnt!

PassionArtsEngage 2013 @ NSS Blk 833 Hardcourt
Today, some AIA and Art Club pupils (AIA is part of Art Club k.. girls) took part in the NSS PassionArtsEngage Dustbin painting activity. They woke up as early as 8am to be outside the school gate to be at Blk 833 to paint the bins and promote the Art Club booth. We had good time and are really proud of what the girls did today. Their bins really look great and the better ones of the whole group!
Some of the girls had their first hand on handling the media as well. It is really an event to show their confidence and their ability.
